12pm to 4pm
£5 per adult, donations for children
An afternoon of art themed events in the gardens and restored tower at Gwrych. Thanks to a grant from Voluntary Arts Week we are inviting the public to come and use the castle as a muse for inspiring their creativity. The castle will be the backdrop against which our imagination will run wild. Artists featured include Nadine Carter-Smith, Liz Bolloten, Ceri Leeder, Yasmine Boudiaf and Liz Hodgkinson. Each artist will be working on a communal piece that features the castle or elements from its history. Come and have a go. If you are a photographer or a writer, bring your tools of work and be inspired. For those who want something different, we have a ‘selfie challenge and treasure hunt’. Refreshments will be available on site and we are asking for people to park in Abergele rather than on site. All funds raised will go towards to continuing conservation and restoration of Gwrych Castle.
Come and see the restored Gardener’s Tower and take in the beauty of the castle and gardens!

A thank you to Everyone… there are times when we have to look back and thank Everyone for their support. 2015 has been a great year for the Gwrych Estate.
You are all welcome to join us. www.gwrychtrust.co.uk
Just ensuring that everyone is aware that we are thankful to EPM for allowing us to further our work on the Gwrych Estate.
We do appreciate that our hard work is valued and look forward to further progression. Thanks to the support of EPM, and the public we are able to continue
I thought it should be noted that EPM are donating an area of the site to the Volunteers & Trust with a lease pending and all donations & proceeds raised by Gwrych Trust are solely that, and no proceeds go to Edwards property management Uk Ltd as a result of Gwrych Castle Preservations Trust’s work at Gwrych. Thank you again.
We look forward to continuing our work and to 2016 and progression.
