Since the 1800’s when Anna, Duchess of Bedford would become hungry in the afternoon, Cream Tea became a fashionable social event. During the 1880′s, aristocratic women would change into long gowns, gloves and hats for their afternoon tea and it became a great social occasion.

The gardens at Gwrych Castle played host to such occasions during the time of the Countess of Dundonald, now its your chance to relive those days.
